As you know, in the previous article we listed some remarkable items which are important in building stadiums and asked some questions about sport marketing and management . A definition enables clearer thought and a more specific consideration of the key concepts, ideas, principles, tools and techniques of sport marketing and management. Without determining such a boundary, the study of sport marketing and management could become unwieldy, confusing and overly complex. Before explaining those items , let see some definitions about sport marketing and management :

Desensi/Kelley/Blanton/Beitel (1990) state that “sport management includes any combination of skills related to planning, organizing, directing,controlling,budgeting,leading, and evaluating within the context of an organization or department whose primary product or service is related to sport and/or physical activity”.
Sport marketing is a matching process – the matching of sport products and services to the demands of sport consumers and customers. It helps to bring supply and demand into balance. Sport consumers (i.e., those who use sport services) and customers (i.e., those who buy them) require sport products and services to overcome needs and wants they have in life.( Paul B, 2010)

Economic environment in Iran is very unstable. Because of its severe dependence to governmental changes, in fact, business units and SMEs cannot set a clear roadmap up to their plans and visions. In such an unconfident market, managers have to research the inside and outside of their market continuously and form professional marketing research units in their corporations.
